Pay Schedule:

Employees are paid twice each month.  For the hours worked from 1st through 15th of the month, they will be paid on the 23rd.  For hours worked from the 16th to the end of the month, employees will be paid on the 8th of the following month. 

**Please note:  If the pay date falls on a Saturday, employees will be paid the Friday before.  If the pay date falls on a Sunday, employees will be paid the following Monday.


It is your responsibility to make sure that your timesheets are faxed to the office before 10:00 a.m. on the day following the end of the pay period (for those not on electronic timesheets).  You must add up all the information (time/mileage), sign, and date the timesheet!  Mileage checks are mailed 5 working days after the end of the month.

All employees should make sure that the following information is up-to-date and send copies to Peak RehabCare's office once renewed:

- TB skin test result, or certificate of no active TB (for those with a prior +ve test) - annually
- Professional license
- CPR card
- Copy of proof of vehicle insurance (if you are paid for your mileage)

Explanation of Employment Status

Our employees are classified into 3 groups.

1. Full-Time: 
- Work at least 32 hours per week
- Have company benefits as described in employment handbook.
- Salary depends on experience.

2. Part-Time Employees:

- May work a minimum of 20 hours per week but not more than 32 on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Receives all legally mandated benefits such as Social Security, Worker’s Compensation, but is not eligible for any other benefit programs unless otherwise stated.

3. PRN Employees:  
- May work up to 20 hours per week.  No specified hours and no guarantee of hours.
- No benefits except for taxes withholding matching as required by law.
- Paid at a higher rate per visit (home health) and per hour - nursing home/hospitals.

4. Contract Employees:  
- No specific hours and no guarantee of hours
- No benefits, no tax withholding
- Paid at a higher rate per hour or per visit.
- Required proof of liability and workman's comp insurance.

Therapute Updates:

1) A new report has been added, called the "Daily Action Items Report".  You can find this under your reports on Therapute.
2) The Therapy Scheduling Worksheet has been updated in two places: 
-The “Ins” column has been updated to reflect specific payer name abbreviations rather than Med A, Med B, and Other.
-The “Recert Date” column has been changed to reflect when the next Recert is due for the patient based on your clinical documents.  Previously, this column was labeled “Cert” and was blank.

Simple IRA Plan:

Please note that all of our full time employees are eligible to participate in our IRA program. Enrollment periods are within 30 days of the end of a 90 probationary period, and between Nov. 1st and Dec. 31st every other year. You will receive election notification during this time. The company is currently (2015) matching pretax defferals on a dollar-for -dollar basis up to 3% of compensation. If you choose not to participate, you have to complete the notification from page 3 section B, sign it and send to the office immediately.
